What is Makerettes?

Makerettes is a group at the Digital Harbor Foundation tech center that gives the small group of girls a chance to shine.

What is the Tech Center?

A place that gives kids the opportunity to learn new tech skills and put them to use on any project they can imagine. It aims to jumpstart youth into a tech career.

How old do I have to be?

Grades 6-10 are accepted into the Maker Foundations program. Participants must at least be in middle school. But, there is a Nanolab for elementary students.

How do I join Makerettes?

You must either be attending the Maker Foundations program or you have to have completed it and become a member. Talk to Sierra about joining.

What do I learn?

You learn about girls in engineering and technology and work on projects together, to form bonds/relationships with one another.
